Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney for a remote position based in Atlanta, GA. The successful candidate will manage legal processes from inception through post-judgment remedies, providing high-quality legal representation in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Duties

• Conduct exceptional legal research, writing, and oral communication.
• Handle a high-volume caseload and provide expert legal and regulatory risk analysis.
• Negotiate with opposing counsel to resolve cases.
• Travel to various courts within Georgia as needed for legal proceedings and hearings.
• Collaborate with the Managing Attorney to report activities and results.

Requirements

• 0-3 years of experience in bankruptcy/collection or civil law litigation.
• Active license to practice law in GA.
• License to practice in other states (GA, SC, TN, FL, VA, MD, MI, OH) or UBE passage is a plus.
• Proficient in analyzing case law and providing recommendations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exemplary oral and written communication skills.
• Outstanding time management skills.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active GA law license.
