Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Attorney in Roseville, CA. The ideal candidate will have a passion for consumer protection and a minimum of seven years of litigation experience. This role offers the opportunity to engage in complex litigation and trial practices, advocating for clients against car manufacturers and dealers.

Duties

• Conduct complex research projects for case prosecution.
• Assume responsibility for trial efforts, typically as second or third chair.
• Draft moving papers and oppositions on novel issues.
• Appear at hearings for motions and oppositions.
• Conduct depositions of key witnesses and experts.
• Provide assistance with trial strategy.
• Oversee entry-level and mid-level associate attorneys.
• Recommend improvements in client communication efforts.
• Collaborate on policy implementation and improvements.
• Provide legal support for interdepartmental operations.

Requirements

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Member in good standing of the California Bar.
• At least seven years of litigation experience.
• Interest in consumer protection and representation.
• Experience supervising and training junior attorneys preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred, but not required.

Education

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Member of the California Bar.
