A law firm seeks an Associate to join its Litigation group, focusing on Product Liability, Mass Torts, and Class Actions in San Diego, CA. The role involves managing cases from inception to resolution, engaging with clients, and collaborating with legal teams to achieve favorable outcomes.

Duties

• Manage a variety of cases, conducting legal research and drafting pleadings.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing regular updates.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft legal documents, including briefs and motions.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to develop case strategies.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and stay updated on legal precedents.
• Participate in professional development and pro bono work.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Experience with class action defense, including securities, data, and privacy litigation.
• Experience managing multi-matter dockets and large-scale discovery.
• Previous federal clerkship is preferred.
• Strong persuasive legal writing skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD)
