Duties

• Manage files throughout the litigation process independently and as part of a team.
• Conduct fact investigations.
• Handle document productions and other discovery tasks.
• Prepare witnesses for deposition.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Prepare pleadings, briefs, and motions.
• Review and analyze medical records and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and attend court hearings, including oral arguments of motions.
• Engage in trial preparation and attendance, including trial team support and direct and cross-examination of witnesses.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois.
• 2-4 years of experience in defense litigation.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong advocacy skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Missouri and Illinois.
