Job Description:

This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Project IM function and thus to the success of the Capital Projects and technical integrity of the operating Assets by working with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, implementing and improving global IM standards and identifying innovative IM solutions.
Principal Accountabilities
Ensure successful and regular data validation / business assurance and handover to Operations.
Ensure that Data Management Plans are developed & implemented by the major execution contractors and equipment vendors.
Manage collection, integration, and validation of data from contractors and/or internal project stakeholders into central data repository.
Liaise with relevant support groups to deliver and configure data management tools to support management of data through the project lifecycle.
Maintain the project reference data libraries for each data-oriented application - ensuring maximum alignment to the Global RDL (Reference Data Library).
Develop, prepare and issue data reports (e.g. SQL, PowerShell, VBA, C#, Python) to track progress of data delivery per contractor
Prepare Data handover to all parties i.e. Commissioning, Operations Readiness and Assurance (OR&A), Operations, relevant to the handover needs of the next project phase.
Provide on-boarding training for project team members dealing with Data Control.
Assist OR&A in developing approach to Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) build and ensuring all requirements are conveyed to delivery groups.
Supervise a team of project data controllers and / or manage data control services rendered by a third-party provider, often split over several locations around the World.

Requirements:
Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as Data controller.
Previous experience of working in an Asset Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team is desirable.
Previous experience of Operations Readiness and Assurance (OR&A) activities including Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) build and of managing as-built data and documents is desirable.
Experience of working with Engineering Data Warehouse (EDW) systems such as SmartPlant or AVEVA is desirable.
Develops and implements Project General Data Control Procedure, covering overall engineering & asset data exchange between various parties or EDWs and from one Opportunity Realization Process (ORP) phase to another (data requirement, data transfer schedule, data validation, inconsistency report, data publishing, and handover to next phase) and to Operations.
Develops and implements Project Application Data Control Procedure per application (such as Intelligent 2D CAD, Instrumentation, 3D Model, etc.) covering engineering & design data exchange between various parties and from one ORP phase to another (data requirement, data transfer schedule, data validation, inconsistency report, data publishing, and handover to next phase) and to Operations.
Prepares and configures Project Reference Data Library (RDL) for project Engineering Data Warehouse (EDW) and applications.
Prepares and configures data integration and validation tools to upload and quality check on data from contractors and for handover to next phase and / or to Operations.
Able to coordinate and manage delivery of data from contractors and suppliers via the project team through to the maintenance systems build teams, construction system builds teams and others as appropriate
Champions data centric ways of working for engineering, project controls, construction and operations
Effectively develops and uses data reports (e.g. SQL, PowerShell, VBA, C#, Python) to playback project performance to stakeholders
Able to create and utilize appropriate data analytics processes and tools to aggregate operational and asset health and performance reporting metrics across multiple data-holding tools for all key activities of the operate phase
Able to execute the process of updating master (e.g. EDW) & secondary systems (e.g. SAP PM, CIMS) with information because of MOC
Able to implement a process to validate consistency of data across multiple systems to avoid engineering and operational risks. (e.g. validate P&ID vs 3D data on projects, or EDW vs SAP PM in assets)
Strong in delivery through others.
A high degree of skill in written and oral communications.
