Duties

• Lead the estate planning department, overseeing client service and refining workflows.

• Conduct strategic consultations to identify client goals and recommend tailored solutions.
• Manage the full client lifecycle, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience.
• Draft and review customized legal documents, including wills and trusts.
• Advise on complex estate and tax matters, providing high-level legal advice.
• Foster client relationships through proactive communication and support.
• Collaborate with firm-wide teams to ensure service alignment and excellence.
• Stay current on legal developments to deliver cutting-edge strategies.
• Mentor and build the team, participating in hiring and onboarding processes.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission in New Jersey.
• At least 7 years of experience in estate planning.
• Experience in taxable estate and tax matters.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Compassionate, client-first approach with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Team player with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree

Certifications

• Active bar admission in New Jersey; New York and/or Pennsylvania is a plus.
