A law firm seeks a motivated Bankruptcy Attorney to join its national practice in West Palm Beach, FL. The firm offers a comprehensive range of creditor's rights and default services, including foreclosure, bankruptcy, and complex civil litigation. Duties

• Draft motions for relief from the automatic stay.
• Prepare and defend secured creditor proofs of claims.
• Defend motions to value and draft pleadings to protect creditor interests.
• Manage a substantial caseload and guide support staff.
• Ensure timely and accurate updates to the firm's systems of record.

Requirements

• Bar License in the state of FL (required); multiple licenses a plus.
• More than eight years of experience in civil litigation, real estate, or equivalent.
• Strong leadership and exceptional communication skills.
• Ability to work accurately and productively in a detail-oriented manner.
• Preferred knowledge of TILA, RESPA, and FDCPA.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar License in the state of FL (required).
