A law firm seeks an Estate Planning Attorney for its Sioux Falls, SD office. This role requires relocation from the Minneapolis, MN area. The firm specializes in estate planning, trust and estate administration, business succession planning, and legacy planning. Duties

• Consult with prospective clients to achieve a high retention rate.
• Draft and review estate planning documents.
• Manage estate administration and probate matters.
• Oversee office staff in client support and document preparation.
• Serve as a resource for staff inquiries.
• Participate in marketing efforts and present at seminars.
• Evaluate client consultations to enhance service quality.
• Build relationships with referral sources.
• Participate in or lead staff meetings.
• Complete 36 Continuing Legal Education (CLE) hours annually.
• Maintain an active South Dakota bar license.

Requirements

• Experience in estate planning, trust administration, and business succession planning.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office technology.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
