An AmLaw 100 law firm is seeking a talented Corporate Restructuring Associate Attorney with 1–5 years of experience to join its nationally recognized restructuring and insolvency group. The position focuses on high-level bankruptcy and restructuring matters, both in-court and out-of-court, including complex cross-border proceedings. Location:

• Dallas, TX

Duties:

• Represent debtors, creditors’ committees, lenders, and asset purchasers in corporate restructurings and bankruptcy proceedings

• Present and argue contested matters in bankruptcy court

• Draft pleadings and court filings, including first-day motions and reorganization plans

• Prepare all supporting documents related to plan confirmation

• Facilitate transactions involving the purchase or sale of distressed assets

• Manage the legal aspects of liquidation proceedings

• Conduct claims reconciliation and prepare objections

• Participate in settlement discussions and negotiations

• Communicate directly with clients and coordinate with internal teams across practices and locations

Requirements:

• 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in corporate restructuring and bankruptcy law

• Direct experience with Chapter 11 proceedings and related litigation

• Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction corresponding to the office location

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Active bar membership in one of the following: NY, IL, FL, TX, or GA

Skills:

• Strong litigation and courtroom advocacy skills

• Proficiency in legal drafting and procedural strategy

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously
