Job Overview: A law firm in Denver, CO, is seeking a talented Patent Agent with at least 2 years of patent prosecution experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with expertise in 5G, Wi-Fi, AI, processor and memory systems, image processing, and RF front-end technologies.

Duties:

• Conducted patent prosecution activities, including drafting, filing, and prosecuting patent applications.
• Perform patentability and prior art searches to assess patent validity and infringement issues.
• Collaborate with inventors and attorneys to strategize patent portfolio development.
• Assist in patent litigation and enforcement matters, including claim construction analysis and invalidity contentions.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of patent prosecution experience.
• Expertise in patent prosecution related to 5G, Wi-Fi, AI, processor and memory systems, image processing, and RF front-end technologies.
• Excellent academic credentials with a focus on Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Registration with the United States Patent Trademark Office ("USPTO") or eligibility for registration.

Education:

• A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent is required.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent preferred.

Certifications:

• Registration with the United States Patent Trademark Office ("USPTO") is required.

Skills:

• Proficiency in patent prosecution processes and procedures.
• Ability to conduct comprehensive patent searches and analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with inventors and attorneys.
• Familiarity with patent litigation procedures and strategies is preferred.
