A law firm seeks a junior Associate Attorney to join the Asset Securitization Practice Group in San Francisco, CA. This role offers an opportunity to engage in complex financial transactions within a finance-focused environment. Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience in a law firm, bank, or finance company.

Duties

• Represent borrowers and lenders in commercial loan, lease, and structured finance transactions.
• Engage in energy and project finance transactions.
• Participate in fintech and startup financing transactions.
• Assist lenders in workout transactions.
• Conduct due diligence on material agreements and organizational documents.
• Prepare corporate housekeeping and ancillary closing documents.
• Draft loan agreements, lease agreements, and offering documents.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication and client relations skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills.
• Superior academic credentials.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Membership in good standing or eligibility to waive into the California Bar.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• California Bar membership or eligibility to waive in.
