A law firm seeks an experienced Employment Law Attorney to join its growing practice in Jersey City, New Jersey. The attorney will manage a complex caseload and participate in hearings, contributing to the development of a statewide workers' compensation practice.

Duties

• Handle day-to-day management of cases and hearings.
• Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings and motions.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Interact with expert witnesses and draft expert reports.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, and court appearances.

Requirements

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the NJ State Bar Association.
• Minimum of 3+ years of workers' compensation experience.
• Ability to manage a high volume of cases and hearings.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active NJ State Bar Association membership.
