Job Overview

A law firm seeks a junior associate to join its Real Estate Finance Practice Group in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will have two to three years of experience in real estate finance, particularly in loan origination for large structured commercial transactions.

Duties

• Manage loan origination work for commercial real estate finance transactions.
• Handle mezzanine loans and preferred equity transactions.
• Oversee asset management and workout processes.
• Conduct transactions from inception through closing and post-closing.
• Engage in secondary market repurchase facility work and exit strategies.

Requirements

• Two to three years of broad real estate finance experience.
• Experience in large law firm settings preferred.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice.
