Job Overview:
A well-established law firm located in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking an experienced and driven Associate Attorney to join its growing team. The firm specializes in representing clients affected by asbestos-related diseases, including mesothelioma. This is a remote full-time opportunity, offering the chance to work with a dedicated team in the pursuit of justice for individuals harmed by asbestos exposure.

Duties:

• Represent clients in legal matters, focusing on asbestos-related disease claims, such as mesothelioma.

• Conduct in-depth legal research and assist with case preparation.

• Handle client meetings, manage depositions, and prepare necessary legal documents.

• Work collaboratively with team members to manage case workflows and ensure timely progression.

• Negotiate settlements and handle court appearances when necessary.

• Assist in developing strategies for case resolutions.

• Maintain a high level of communication with clients, keeping them informed throughout the legal process.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of Pennsylvania law, particularly in personal injury and asbestos-related claims.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in managing multiple complex cases simultaneously.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.

• Excellent negotiation, research, and organizational skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar is required.
