Duties

• Represent clients in civil litigation matters

• Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs

• Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice

• Engage in trial preparation, including discovery and evidence gathering

• Negotiate settlements and attend court proceedings

• Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials

• Manage caseload efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil litigation

• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills

• Self-motivated with the ability to thrive under pressure

• Civil trial experience preferred

• Insurance and commercial litigation experience strongly considered

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Maryland

• Additional state bar licenses preferred
