Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Transactional Lawyer for its Investment Team in Charlotte, NC. The role involves representing capital providers in debt and equity investment activities, including lending transactions and private equity investments. This position offers the opportunity to work across the capital structure, representing both equity and debt investors, as well as portfolio companies in acquisition, sell-side, and financing activities.

Duties

• Represent lenders in lending transactions.
• Advise alternative investment vehicles on debt and equity investments.
• Assist private equity fund investors with control and growth equity investments.
• Support portfolio companies in acquisition, sell-side, and financing activities.

Requirements

• Two to six years of transactional experience preferred.
• Experience in finance or corporate transactions is ideal.
• Excellent academic performance required.
• Strong interpersonal skills necessary.

Education

• Law Degree

Certifications

• Eligibility for North Carolina Bar admission preferred.

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
