Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Transactional Attorney in San Antonio, TX. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a Senior Associate and/or Partner, supporting the transactional department by maintaining client relationships, drafting documents, performing legal research, and managing transactions.

Duties

• Conduct legal research using Westlaw and firm resources.
• Summarize and present legal research to clients.
• Complete entity formation checklists and prepare related documents.
• Support complex mergers and acquisitions; manage smaller transactions.
• Draft acquisition documents and manage due diligence.
• Draft and review real estate leases and purchasing documents.
• Draft various contracts and employment documents.
• Advise clients on employment practices and respond to investigations.
• Advise HOAs and draft related documents.
• Participate in team meetings and maintain transactional task lists.
• Record daily time entries and respond to communications promptly.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor Degree.

Certifications

• Texas Bar Admission.
