A law firm in Milwaukee is currently seeking an Intellectual Property Associate Attorney with 2-7 years of experience. The ideal candidate should have expertise in various aspects of intellectual property and possess a degree in engineering or science or be eligible to sit for the Patent Bar.

Duties:

• Work comprehensively in all aspects of intellectual property law.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
• Draft and prosecute patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
• Provide counsel on intellectual property strategies and protection.
• Handle intellectual property litigation matters.
• Negotiate and draft licensing agreements.
• Advise clients on patentability, infringement, and freedom-to-operate issues.

Requirements:

• 2-7 years of experience in intellectual property law.
• Degree in engineering or science, or eligibility to sit for the Patent Bar.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications:

Eligibility to sit for the Patent Bar.
