Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Healthcare Regulatory Attorney with at least seven years of experience to join their team in Washington, D.C. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape a practice within the healthcare and insurance division, providing transactional and regulatory counsel to healthcare providers, health plans, and pharmaceutical and medical device companies.

Duties

• Advise clients on healthcare fraud and abuse compliance, including Stark Law and anti-kickback statutes.
• Advocate for clients on Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement issues.
• Guide health plans on compliance with state and federal laws.
• Advise on corporate practice of medicine and management service organizations.
• Conduct transactional due diligence for M&A and financing transactions.

Requirements

• Minimum of seven years of relevant experience.
• Active license in the applicable jurisdiction or ability to waive into practice.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in good standing.
