A well-established law firm with a focus on financial services and real estate litigation is seeking a Foreclosure Litigation Attorney with strong litigation experience and a deep understanding of contested mortgage foreclosure actions. This is a remote opportunity, offering flexibility for attorneys licensed in Florida who are looking to handle complex litigation matters from strategy through resolution.

Location

Duties

• Review and analyze contested mortgage foreclosure cases

• Develop litigation strategies to resolve disputes through judgment, court action, or settlement

• Provide legal counsel regarding ongoing litigation and strategic outcomes

• Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs

• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials

• Oversee and approve client invoicing and follow up on outstanding payments

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of legal practice

• At least 3 years of litigation experience

• Minimum 3 years specifically in foreclosure or foreclosure litigation

• Experience conducting at least one trial or evidentiary hearing with witness testimony preferred

• Must be able to work independently and manage high-volume caseloads remotely

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active member of the Florida Bar

• Admission to the U.S. District Court in Florida is a plus

Skills

• Strong knowledge of foreclosure litigation procedures and legal principles

• Excellent legal research, drafting, and litigation strategy skills

• Confident courtroom presence with experience in motion practice and hearings

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate level or above)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Effective time management and organizational abilities

• Team-oriented with a commitment to client service
