A well-regarded law firm located in Princeton, NJ is seeking a seasoned attorney with a strong background in employment law to support its growing practice. This role centers on advising businesses across various industries on workplace-related legal matters, compliance strategies, and administrative challenges. The attorney will play an integral role in offering legal guidance to employers, working closely with regulatory bodies and opposing counsel, but will not be expected to appear in court or handle litigation through trial.

Duties:

• Provide legal support to employers on a wide spectrum of labor and employment matters

• Handle government inquiries and workplace investigations with a strategic and solution-focused approach

• Draft and review workplace policies, employment agreements, and compliance documentation

• Develop practical recommendations tailored to clients' business needs

• Collaborate with the firm's litigation team to advise on legal strategy without engaging in trial representation

• Maintain ongoing relationships with clients, ensuring consistent legal support and risk management

• Interact with external counsel, administrative agencies, and legal representatives

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of focused experience in employment law

• Proven ability to offer actionable legal advice on workplace and HR compliance matters

• Capacity to juggle multiple matters efficiently while maintaining attention to detail

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities

• Must hold active admission to the Bar in either New Jersey or Pennsylvania

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active law license in New Jersey or Pennsylvania

Skills:

• Strong research and legal analysis skills

• Professional communication with diverse clients and stakeholders

• Proficiency in drafting legal documents and memoranda
