This position involves handling a broad range of commercial disputes, including collections, and provides an opportunity to work closely with seasoned litigators in a supportive, high-performance environment. Duties

• Handle business and commercial litigation matters, including commercial collections

• Conduct legal research and write memoranda

• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents

• Respond to discovery requests and document production

• Take and defend depositions

• Represent clients in court appearances and mediations

• Assist with trial preparation and strategy

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant litigation experience

• Strong background in business and commercial litigation

• Experience handling commercial collections is a plus

• Ability to manage multiple cases independently

• Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel

• Willingness to appear in court and participate in alternative dispute resolution

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active member in good standing with the State Bar of California
