A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join the Commercial Disputes practice in Newark, NJ. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in general commercial litigation, multi-district litigation, or class actions in state and federal courts. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced lawyers and gain increasing levels of responsibility and client contact.

Duties

• Conduct independent legal research.
• Draft substantive pleadings and motions.
• Organize and manage discovery practices, including e-discovery.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant litigation experience.
• Admitted to or eligible for the New Jersey Bar.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Exceptional research and writing abilities.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New Jersey Bar or eligibility to sit for it.
