Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Personal Injury Trial Attorney to join its growing practice in Saint Louis, Missouri. The attorney will manage a complex caseload from pre-litigation through trial, representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases, including motor vehicle and trucking accidents, in Missouri and Illinois.

Duties

• Handle pre-litigation and litigation cases daily.
• Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings and motions.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Interact with expert witnesses and draft reports.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, and court appearances.

Requirements

• Law degree (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the State Bar Association (MO required, IL a plus).
• Minimum 3+ years of personal injury or general liability experience.
• Ability to manage a high volume of cases.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.)

Certifications

• State Bar Association membership (MO required, IL a plus)
