Duties:

• Draft and prosecute patent applications
• Prepare non-infringement opinions
• Engage in technology licensing and trademark registration
• Prosecute trademarks
• Conduct general IP consultations
• Develop new business opportunities
• Maintain substantial client contact, managing relationships and addressing client needs

Requirements:

• Admitted to practice before the US Patent Office
• Several years of work experience in a chosen technology field post-undergraduate degree
• 3-5 years of experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications

Education:

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant technology field
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice law in the state of New Hampshire
• Registered to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office

Skills:

• Strong understanding of intellectual property law, particularly patent and trademark law
• Excellent drafting and prosecuting skills for patent applications
• Proficient in preparing non-infringement opinions
