A law firm seeks an AI Services Attorney in New York, NY. This role involves operationalizing AI-powered solutions to support case teams throughout the full lifecycle of a matter, from client outreach through trial and appeal or deal closing. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement.

Duties

• Serve as a dedicated resource for attorneys seeking AI support, offering assistance with prompt design and execution.
• Assist practice groups in adopting AI-enabled workflows through outreach and support.
• Collaborate across practice groups to gather feedback and identify opportunities for AI-driven support.
• Standardize and scale successful AI solutions in collaboration with Innovation Attorneys and stakeholders.
• Participate in technology-related working groups and prepare technology presentations and trainings.
• Protect and maintain sensitive, confidential, and proprietary information.

Requirements

• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to think creatively and provide strategic support to firm leadership.
• Extensive knowledge of AI concepts and principles as they relate to legal matters.
• Service-oriented mindset with responsiveness and reliability.

Education

• JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to a relevant U.S. state bar.

Skills

• Experience in a law firm as an innovation and/or practicing litigation or transactional attorney.
• Interest in legal technology, innovation, and AI tools.
• Experience in prompt design or AI project work preferred.
