A law firm seeks a mid-level family law associate attorney to join their Portland, Oregon office. The successful candidate will work directly with clients on complex cases, receive mentorship, and gain hands-on litigation experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Duties

• Conduct legal research and draft detailed legal documents.
• Prepare and litigate family law cases, including hearings and trials.
• Collaborate with associates and shareholders on complex legal matters.
• Meet with clients to build rapport, trust, and manage cases effectively.
• Participate actively in the firm's community of achievers.

Requirements

• Oregon State Bar license.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in family law.
• Experience with complex family law, custody, asset, and business litigation preferred.
• Strong legal writing and research skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrable courtroom experience.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the Oregon State Bar.
