A law firm in Philadelphia is actively seeking a Mid- to Senior-Level Finance Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will work across several offices, representing lenders and borrowers in diverse and complex financial transactions, with a specific focus on private equity acquisitions and both senior and mezzanine debt transactions. This role requires prior experience in structuring, documenting, and closing financing transactions across various industries. The candidate should possess excellent written and oral communication skills, a team-oriented mentality, and strong credentials. This position offers opportunities for advancement, including a partnership track, within a collegial environment. The candidate will collaborate across offices, engage in business development activities, and work on sophisticated and complex finance transactions for middle-market clients.

Duties:

• Represent lenders and borrowers in varied and complex financial transactions.
• Focus on financing private equity acquisitions and both senior and mezzanine debt transactions.
• Manage all aspects of finance transactions, including negotiation, documentation, and closing.
• Work on sophisticated and complex finance transactions on behalf of middle-market clients.
• Directly interact with clients and participate in business development activities.
• Collaborate across offices, particularly with a busy practice.
• Receive training opportunities with growing levels of responsibility.
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience with all aspects of complex financing and acquisition transactions on both the borrower and lender sides.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of law firm experience.
• Licensed to practice since 2019 or earlier.
• Prior experience in structuring, documenting, and closing financing transactions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Team-oriented mentality and a motivated self-starter.
• Strong credentials in finance law.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Licensed to practice law.

Skills:
