Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Environmental Associate Attorney with at least three years of experience in environmental law to join their Minneapolis, MN office. The successful candidate will work within a well-established practice, engaging in regulatory, litigation, and transactional environmental work across various industries.

Duties

• Collaborate with attorneys in the Environmental group on diverse legal matters.
• Engage in regulatory, litigation, and transactional practice areas.
• Represent clients in a wide range of industries.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience in environmental law.
• Experience with the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, and/or CERCLA.
• Licensed to practice in or eligible for admission without examination in Minnesota.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the Minnesota Bar or eligibility for admission without examination.

Skills

• Strong writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Background in sciences, engineering, or LL.M. in environmental law preferred.
