Senior Immigration Paralegal (IV)
The candidate will perform an initial evaluation of matters and assessment of case-specific needs. The caseload of 40 PERMs, along with numerous I-140, and AOS matters and RFE’s per month. Collaborate with attorneys on case strategy and responses to RFEs. Professional phone and written communication with clients. Draft forms, letters, job descriptions, and other support documents. Responsible for a thorough review of petitions. Enter and update information in databases and case management systems; and mentorship of junior paralegals and support staff with direct responsibility to firm managers. Track towards growth into a supervisory or management role within the firm. Support teams on immigrant matters mainly: PERM, however also including I-140 and AOS matters and RFE’s per month. Manage the day-to-day work on an average caseload of 60 matters at any time. Must have 10 years of relevant experience.
