A law firm based in Folsom, CA, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Associate Attorney specializing in litigation and collections. Duties

• Oversee breach of contract and collection of litigation cases from demand through judgment.
• Represent clients at court hearings, both virtually and in person.
• Draft and present motions, including Motions for Summary Judgment.
• Manage a high-volume caseload while adhering to client goals and expectations.
• Address time-sensitive and escalated legal matters effectively.
• Participate in special projects and other assigned responsibilities.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in California.
• Experience with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) is advantageous.

Education

• Juris Doctorate (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Active admission to the California State Bar.
