A law firm seeks two Associate Attorneys in Los Angeles, CA, with a minimum of one year of experience in lemon law. The firm represents clients across California who have purchased defective vehicles qualifying as lemons.

Duties

• Represent clients in lemon law claims, including negotiating settlements and litigating cases in court.
• Advise clients on their legal rights and options regarding defective vehicles.
• Draft legal documents such as complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
• Investigate and gather evidence, including vehicle repair records and expert reports.
• Stay informed on the latest developments in lemon law and consumer protection regulations.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders to manage case progress.
• Provide legal strategy and guidance throughout the legal process.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff for seamless case management.

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong time management skills, including prioritization of cases.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficient in MS Office and FileVine.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• California State Bar License.
