The candidate must have heavy health law experience. Should have 7-10 years of experience with handling healthcare law matters in the context of corporate and transactional undertakings. Must be licensed to practice in Florida (other states are a plus). Expertise in the following areas is ideal: physician and medical practice representation of all kinds, from large transactions to employment agreement review and so forth; working in the behavioral healthcare space; and hospital operations and structure. Any prior experience working with Medicare, CMS or with payors or managed care is also a plus.
