Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced associate to join its litigation practice in Washington, DC. The associate will engage in a variety of intellectual property litigation matters, including patents, trade secrets, copyrights, and trademarks, as well as post-grant proceedings. This role offers an opportunity to advance within a dynamic high-tech litigation group.

Duties

• Handle intellectual property litigation cases.
• Participate in post-grant proceedings at the USPTO.
• Provide opinions, counseling, and transaction support.
• Collaborate with a team on complex legal matters.

Requirements

• Two to five years of experience in intellectual property matters.
• Admitted to the state bar and eligible for D.C. Bar admission.
• Registration to practice before the USPTO preferred.

Education

• Undergraduate or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science, Mathematics, or Physics.

Certifications

• State bar admission.
