A law firm in Rochelle Park, NJ, is seeking a Junior to Mid-level Bankruptcy Associate Attorney with 2-8 years of experience. The ideal candidate will handle various corporate bankruptcy and restructuring aspects, focusing on Chapter 7, 11, and 13 cases, including litigation.

Duties:

• Represent clients in bankruptcy proceedings, including Chapter 7, 11, and 13 cases.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents related to bankruptcy litigation.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials as necessary.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and bankruptcy trustees.

Requirements:

• 2-8 years of experience practicing law, focusing on bankruptcy and restructuring.
• Proven experience in Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy cases.
• Admission to the New Jersey State Bar is mandatory.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New Jersey State Bar.
• Certification or additional training in bankruptcy law (preferred but not required).
