Digitization Assistant (Contract)
The candidate will review reports and identify necessary information to perform project tasks. Prepare, capture, index and quality control files and documents, including original documents, using firm hardware and software in accordance with firm policies and procedures. Process files post-digitization based on established criteria. Maintain accurate database records regarding the status of records. Generate reports and statistics as requested. Must have proficiency in digitizing records and performing effective quality control activities. Perform repetitive tasks over sustained periods of time (file shifts, file moves) Regularly lift, rearrange, and carry materials weighing up to 40 pounds. High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Should have 3+ years of experience working in an administrative, records and information management, or similar field. Law or professional services firm experience highly desired. Experience and proficiency with scanning equipment, records and document management systems strongly preferred. Should have excellent written and verbal communication. Must have proficiency in MS Office suite.
