A law firm seeks a Fund Formation Attorney with two to four years of experience for its Palo Alto, CA office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in private investment fund formation and a high level of academic achievement.

Duties

• Represent sponsors and investors in private investment funds.
• Complete fund formation transactions.
• Handle sponsor-level transactions involving general partner and management company entities.
• Manage secondary transactions involving limited partner and/or portfolio company interests.

Requirements

• Two to four years of private investment fund formation experience.
• Experience in a corporate department of a national or international law firm preferred.
• High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.

Education

• Juris Doctor from a nationally recognized law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the state of California.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
