A law firm seeks an experienced Employment Litigation Of Counsel for its Orlando, FL office. The role involves defending and litigating a variety of employment-related claims and providing strategic advice to employers on labor law issues.

Duties

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims and agency charges.
• Advise, counsel, and train employers on employment and labor law issues.
• Represent employers in court, arbitration, and mediations, including class/collective actions and discrimination cases.
• Manage cases involving harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour, contract, employment tort, and non-compete issues.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• 9+ years of experience in employment litigation, with first-chair case management experience.
• Current Florida Bar admission in good standing.
• Supervisory experience over associate and paralegal work.
• In-depth understanding of state and federal agency procedures.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Florida Bar.
