Duties

• Work collaboratively with partners and team members.
• Manage all phases of employment law matters, including counseling employers and advising on compliance.
• Draft and review employment policies, agreements, and handle administrative agency proceedings.
• Litigate employment-related claims and support civil litigation defense.
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of three years of experience in employment law.
• Experience counseling employers and managing employment disputes.
• Admission or pending admission to the Massachusetts Bar.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications

• Admission to the Massachusetts Bar or pending admission.

Skills

• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience in employment law and civil litigation defense.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
• Excellent interpersonal and advocacy skills.
• Proficiency in legal research using Westlaw.
