Location:

• New York, NY

Duties:

• Handle discovery and trial preparation for complex commercial litigation matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Provide legal research and analysis in support of litigation strategy
• Participate in all phases of litigation, including trial preparation, motions, hearings, and depositions
• Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and clients on case strategy
• Represent clients in court hearings and trial proceedings, as necessary
• Manage a caseload and ensure timely and effective case progress

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of experience in business/commercial litigation
• Outstanding academic credentials from an accredited law school
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills
• Experience in handling discovery, trial preparation, and other litigation tasks at a large law firm or civil litigation boutique
• Local bar admission in New York (required)
• Proven ability to manage high-pressure situations and work collaboratively in a team

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar (required)

Skills:

• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Proficiency with litigation case management software and Microsoft Office
