Duties:

• Oversee first-party property insurance claims through all phases of litigation, including evaluating cases and formulating strategic approaches.

• Deliver outstanding client service by providing timely updates, guidance, and comprehensive legal advice.

• Conduct thorough legal research to build strong case foundations and strategies.

• Prepare and submit various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, discovery requests, and briefs.

• Represent client interests in court settings, including hearings, trials, and mediation sessions.

• Negotiate case settlements effectively with insurance providers and opposing legal representatives.

• Provide leadership and direction to administrative staff, paralegals, and junior attorneys.

• Develop litigation strategies tailored to each client's unique situation and legal objectives.

Requirements:

• Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.

• Between 2-4 years of relevant experience, specifically in first-party property insurance litigation.

• At least 1-2 years of experience practicing law within a structured legal environment.

• Demonstrable capability in independent caseload management and multitasking.

• Exceptional problem-solving, public speaking, interpersonal, and written communication skills.

• Technologically adept with advanced experience in legal research databases such as Lexis and Westlaw.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law institution.

Certifications:

• An active Florida Bar license is required.
