Associate Attorney - Construction and Government Contracts

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate attorney with three to five years of experience in commercial construction and/or government contracts to join their Washington, D.C. office. The candidate should have experience representing contractors on public and private projects, as well as in arbitration and litigation before state and federal courts and contract appeal boards.

Duties

• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases.
• Participate in the development of case strategy and management.
• Engage in substantive client contact.

Requirements

• Admitted to the DC bar or eligible for prompt admission.
• Maryland and/or Virginia bar membership is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Washington, D.C.
