Guild Group is a financial and professional services business encompassing a comprehensive Shared Services team that supports most of the businesses in the group. As we near our seventh decade, we continue to innovate and challenge the way we do things and as such, there has never been a better time to join us. In fact, we are putting our money where our mouth is and have embarked on ways of working program that will empower you to work in a way that is contemporary and enabling! If we do speak, make sure you ask me about 'sprout'.
In your new role as Internal Communications Business Partner, you’ll develop, implement, and evaluate internal communications strategies and activities across the Guild Group to support information flow and understanding between the Group’s five key business areas and shared services divisions, and between the Executive Group and staff throughout the business (including the national and offshore office network). Your work plays an important role in empowering the organisation and supporting employee engagement.
Supported by a Digital Communications Specialist, you will be hands-on in the delivery of internal (and some external) communications activities, campaigns, and content generation while maintaining a strategic outlook. This includes:
Implementing internal communications strategy and continually evaluating and improving internal communication activities.
Working with key strategic projects to assist in planning and communicating the delivery of change activities in simple and understandable terms across all business units.
Working with members of the Executive to assist in the communication of complex issues and strategic information; and
Building internal communications capability within each business area through the provision of advice, support and resources including the creation of corporate videos from start to finish.
About you:
Experience and demonstrated ability in writing and producing communications across various platforms including online, e-newsletters, publications, presentations, and video, and working with relevant suppliers.
Experience working directly with Executive Leadership and the provision of strategic internal communications advice.
Exposure to and understanding of working within an organisation with multiple businesses/ functions, and multiple office locations.
Proven experience with content management for a company intranet (SharePoint experience preferred) plus of course Office 365 tools (Microsoft Teams, Stream, Forms
Ideally external-facing website content management experience
What’s in it for you?
We offer flexibility with our hybrid ways of working, health and well-being programs and short-term incentive program. The role will offer you the opportunity to be very close to the action and key stakeholders, you’ll have a high level of visibility within the business as will your work. You’ll be someone that will thrive in a role where you are as comfortable on the tools as you are strategising. You’ve worked in businesses where you’ve had to pivot and be flexible (and these businesses have likely got the best out of you)
