Duties:

• Draft and prosecute patent applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
• Conduct patent searches, patentability analysis, clearance analysis, and patent landscape analysis.
• Collaborate with inventors and technical experts to gather necessary information for patent applications.
• Stay updated on industry trends and legal developments related to intellectual property.

Requirements:

• A degree in engineering is required.
• 3 years of experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications is preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with computer-aided drafting/modeling programs is preferred.
• Familiarity with patent searching, patentability analysis, clearance analysis, and patent landscape analysis is preferred.
• Curiosity to learn technologies outside of the field of expertise is preferred.
• Work experience in the engineering field is preferred.

Education:

• A bachelor's degree in engineering is required.

Certifications:

• Patent Agent registration with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is preferred.
