Job Overview:

The Mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney will work on a variety of complex litigation matters under the guidance of experienced attorneys. They will have the opportunity to contribute to high-stakes cases and develop their legal skills.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Assist with discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests
• Prepare for and attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings
• Participate in case strategy meetings
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
• Assist with trial preparation and strategy
• Handle administrative tasks related to case management

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the State Bar in New York
• 2+ years of litigation experience in big law, a top-tier boutique, as an AUSA, or in a prestigious judicial clerkship
• Superior writing skills
• Impeccable judgment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
