A nationally recognized litigation firm is seeking a Transportation Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Denver, Colorado office. This position is ideal for a mid-level attorney with experience in transportation and general casualty litigation. The role offers the opportunity to work with a major international logistics client, handle complex litigation under the guidance of senior attorneys, and collaborate with legal professionals across the country. Location

Duties

• Manage litigation caseloads under the supervision of senior attorneys, from inception through resolution

• Conduct legal research and analyze transportation-related laws and regulations

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and discovery responses

• Participate in court hearings, mediations, and depositions

• Negotiate settlements and client agreements with strong advocacy

• Collaborate with legal teams across multiple offices in a fast-paced environment

• Prepare strategic case analysis reports for client stakeholders

• Stay current with emerging legal issues in logistics, trucking, and e-commerce sectors

Requirements

• 3–8 years of experience in general casualty litigation

• Prior exposure to transportation and logistics or trucking regulation strongly preferred

• Deposition and motion practice experience required

• Trial experience preferred

• Familiarity with e-commerce or gig economy legal issues is a plus

• Ability to manage multiple complex cases while working collaboratively

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the state of Colorado
