Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Commercial and Industrial Finance Attorney in Uniondale, NY. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in C&I transactions, asset-based lending, and commercial finance. This role involves managing complex transactions and advising clients on various financial matters.

Duties

• Prepare and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, and easements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate financing documents, including term loans and credit facilities.
• Manage due diligence, including title and lease review for C&I loans.
• Advise clients on transaction structures and collateral packages.
• Support leasing matters and coordinate C&I commercial finance closings.

Requirements

• J.D. with excellent academic credentials.
• New York Bar admission required; New Jersey and Florida Bar admissions are a plus.
• 5-7 years of transactional and/or commercial finance experience, specifically in C&I lending.
• Self-starter, detail-oriented, and a team player.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively.
• Familiarity with UCC Article 9 secured transactions is preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.)
