Litigation Attorney

Profile

A law firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney for its office in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of asbestos litigation experience and possess superior research and writing skills. They should also have experience taking and defending depositions and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Admission to the California Bar is required.

Job Overview:

• Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence promptly.
• Provide timely, accurate, and high-quality work products.
• Meet deadlines and expectations while fostering positive work relationships.
• Comply with all firm policies and practices.
• Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, including working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.
• Perform all assigned duties, tasks, or projects.

Duties:

Requirements:

• 4+ years of asbestos litigation experience.
• Superior research and writing skills.
• Experience taking and defending depositions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience managing a case docket and appearing in court (preferred).
• Admission to California Bar.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California Bar.

Skills:
