Chicago office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks trial attorney with 6 months of hands-on experience drafting legal briefs and court pleadings, analyzing legal standards, conducting legal research and representing clients in court and arbitration proceedings. The candidate will be researching and analyzing legal statutes, decisions, regulations, and ordinances of judicial and quasi-judicial bodies. Will be examining legal data to determine advisability of defending or prosecuting a lawsuit. Presenting and summarizing cases and case law. Interpreting laws, rulings and regulations to individuals and corporate clients; reviewing and analyzing legal documents. Drafting and filing legal briefs, opinions, motions, and pleadings for state and federal courts as well as federal bankruptcy courts. Conducting fact finding research and developing winning legal strategies and arguments. Representing clients in court and arbitration proceedings as well as before governmental agencies; and attending and taking depositions. Must possess LL.M. degree and be licensed to practice law in Illinois and New York.
