Job Title: Immigration Attorney
Job Overview:
A well-established law firm, located in Fort Lauderdale, FL, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Immigration Attorney. This position involves managing all aspects of immigration law, including asylum, consular processing, family-based cases, removal defense, and representing clients before USCIS interviews and EOIR. The role requires an individual passionate about zealous client advocacy and has an excellent understanding of immigration law.
Duties:
Manage a caseload and ensure timely compliance with deadlines.
Prepare and review immigration applications, motions, and briefs.
Process immigration applications, including VAWA, I-360, T-Visa, I-914, U Visa, I-918, I-485 (LPR), I-130, I-765, and I-131.
Handle a wide range of immigration cases such as family-based immigration, asylum, removal defense, employment-based immigration, and naturalization.
Represent clients in immigration court, USCIS interviews, and other relevant administrative hearings.
Provide clients with regular updates regarding the status of their cases.
Analyze legal conflicts, offer solutions, and advocate effectively on behalf of clients.
Ensure confidentiality of all client interactions and case information.
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in the State of Florida.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in Immigration Law.
Strong understanding of U.S. Immigration laws, regulations, and procedures.
Excellent negotiation and client advocacy skills.
Proficient in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
Strong research, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage a high-volume caseload.
Education:
JD from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
Licensed to practice law in Florida.
